Maskin Mekano was founded in 1956 in Jönköping in the south of Sweden by two brothers. After a various range of owners during the 1980´s and 1990´s the company is owned by the Smedenman family since 1997.
Maskin Mekano has manufactered high quality equipment for contractors from the very beginning. The Ls 200, launched in the 1970´s, for topsoil production was a breakthrough in the mobile sector. Maskin Mekano has also built a lot of custom-designed machines for both crushing and screening.
Maskin Mekano nowadays has developed a strong standard range of mobile plants with a unique combination of high capacity and high quality screening. The superiority of the STEscreening technique has lead to a substantial growth, a marketleading position in Sweden and an increasing export rate.
