A new standard
The Rapid swap design is developed to make every day use smoother. The openness of the screen box sides provides exceptional access to the screen decks for ease of maintenance, inspection and change of meshes. The drive package has been moved down below all decks to increase the accessibility even more.
Simpler changing
All three decks have side tensioned screens in a format that is manageable to a solo operator. The middle and under deck screening media is inserted through the side of the screen box and tensioned using a newly designed tensioning device, without loose bolts and washers, that does not need to be removed during the change. The upper deck media is changed more traditionally. But the feeding conveyor can be raised as much as wanted, a new feature that provides more working space during the shifting.
The catwalks are an integrated part of the working environment where the rails also form part of the unloading area when changing screens. The catwalk rails are fitted with sliding guideways to assist during changing.
Superb accessibility
The accessibility is not only improved inside the screen box. We have redesigned the catwalks in order to also improve the accessibility around the screen box. A connecting catwalk at the back end of the screen is added in order to enable moving from side to side. The platforms are made of floor grating to prevent stone dust clinging and freezing of water.
Innovation benefits
Altogether these innovations reduce the time for changing of meshes significantly. The profit of saving time is not the only benefit though. The working environment of the operator is also immensely improved.
And the screening performance is still the same. It is still a STE screen. |
