Ls 1403
Magnus Johansson/Persöfrakt
Quarry manager in the north os Sweden Magnus Johansson has a wish-list for future
screening-plants:“Replacing wear-parts such as
screen cloths, bearings and so on must be really easy. Anything that can reduce
downtime is good, because time is money.”
Their new screening-plant Ls 1403 is a groundbreaking machine when it comes to user-friendliness, with the open screen-box design Rapid swap, which gives superior access to the the entire screen-box.
Lower fuel consumption and emissions are also important,
and here he thinks that the Ls 1403 has come a
good way too, thanks to the electrical drive. The screening-plant also fulfils his requirements for
increased production, reduced overall operating costs and efficient
solutions.
The Ls 1403 has been put to the test right from the start.
The weather conditions have been really bad and the
screening-plant is currently fed with a 0-8 mm stockpiled
crushed aggregate. The material was crushed some 6
months ago, it is frozen too, and now needed for gritting.
The Ls 1403 splits the material into 8 +mm, 5-8 mm,
1-5 mm and 0-1 mm without any problems. Magnus Johansson quotes:
“We have tested the Ls 1403 in the worst of conditions
and it has exceeded all our expectations.”
